I can't get the console working. I'm not sure why, as I have the switchbox, the power supply, and the console and controllers.

I set it up as specified in the instructions. The TV goes to blue screen. I put in the game. Controller's already in. Turn on the console.

Nothing.

Why..?

You be on channel 3 or something, not the AV input mode. Could this be the problem?

I'm on channel three, with the switch set to circle.

Are you saying I should be on the AV input mode? Doesn't 5200 predate composite and therefore the input "channel"?

When you said "blue screen", I thought you meant you had it on AV input. You do want it on channel 3, or maybe channel 2 or 3 depending on how your switch is set.

Yeah, there's no response when I use those. In fact, the 5200's LED won't even light up. Assuming the instruction manual is right and there is an LED.

If the LED won't light up, start by checking the power supply (is it putting out voltage). The switchbox would be the next suspect. I'm currently trouble-shooting a bad one. When I find the problem with it, I'll post it here.

How does one check the power supply? I guess I could try to find another switchbox on evilbay, but damn it.. I already got ripped off paying 20 bucks for the power.
