The only place I've seen this game is at Toys R Us. I bought it for $29.99 there today, and the geek at the counter kept reminding me that it is a port of an old PC game while he was ringing me up. What I want to know is if this game is (a) really that hard to find, (b) if it is a TRU exclusive and (c) if it is good. Toys R Us always seems to get the more obscure GBA titles (Space Invaders, King of the Fighters EX2 for example). I've only seen the game reviewed in Game Informer, but I figured I would try it out since it seems a lot like One Piece Mansion (PS1) from the box description...

I still have to pick up this game. I loved the PC version, but cant imagine the GBA version to be that good. I mean, small screen and no mouse.

In Japan, I remember reading reports that it sold out at launch. I wasn't even aware they were releasing it here...

Alright, a bit of useless history, and a disclaimer:
I may very well be totally wrong, or even worse, half right.
The game is indeed based off of sim tower for the pc in mac years ago. I believe it was developed by that crazy genius developer Yoot something, but I only know this because its title is Yoot Tower in japan.
Apparently a few years ago there was a sequel of sorts.
Yoot something was featured in Tips and Tricks a few months back, along with all the free personalized stuff he's recieved from various game companies. I get the impression that in Japan, the guy is up there with Yu Suzuki and the like. This game is the reason for that.
Can somebody verify, and or shed some light on this?

'Anyone played The Tower SP for GBA? (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=84067)' was a thread from earlier this year about this very game.

I bought mine online but not from Toys R Us, however, on the official site they say "Now avaiable at Toys R Us", so it might be exclusive to them just at B&M stores. Toys R Us does seem to be getting some of the more obscure titles as of late (still the only place I've seen Rub Rabbits for sale), though I've found both GBA KoF games at EB/GS.
