Seems a very large portion of GameFAQs regular have Gamecube and/or PS2 but very few would buy XBox. Either it means there are not many XBox fan at GameFAQs or M$ lied about the number of XBox units sold.

Yep MS burried all their overproduced Xbox's in a landfill like some other
crap I'm sure we're all famliure with :-D
MS is a public company, I don't think it would lie about units sold. Out of all the
big players Nintendo is the only company that "Could" lie about profits and
market share ;)

Gamefaqs.com is infested, er, frequented mainly by (as far as I can tell) 14-year-old RPG players.
How many RPGs are there for the Xbox?
How many 14-year-olds can't afford an Xbox and so exhibit sour grapes fanboyism?

P.S. If you are 14 or thereabouts and are at the DP forum reading this, then clearly you are a young gentleman (or lady) of discriminating taste who wouldn't engage in such loutish behavior, so I'm obviously not talking about you.

Um, according to that, the Gamecube is almost out-selling the PS2. Didn't anyone else notice this?

eeeeeeeeeeh how many rpgs are there for Gamecube?????? there are of course more for the xbox
why can't 14 year olds afford an xbox but an gc or ps2? sounds weird to me. Parents pay the consoles, not the children and difference in price is not that much

Look, I'll bet that most of these 14-year olds have parents who bought their kids a PS2 within the last year or two, and so they're not about to buy their kid another "goddamn videogame thing" when they have a perfectly good one in the living room.
