I came across a big box of commodore 64 stuff and was wondering if they were worth anything.

2 - 1541 Floppy Drives (1 white, 2 brown)
1 - 1541-II Floppy drive (white)
14 - 5 1/4 disks (utilities, graphics adaptor, model 1541 test/demo diskette)

about 20 different manuals for the C64, VIC-20, programming stuff, TI-99/4A most of the hardware has manuals

-Texas Instruments - Teach yourself basic - 2 cassettes
-Commodore 64 Diagnostic Cart
-VIC 20/vc 20 Diagnostic test cart
-Micro Sleuth 64 test phase cart with circuit board
-vic-1011A RS 232 C Terminal type (some cart thingy)
-Graphic printer cable for the C64 & VIC 20 - attached to a box with dip switches and cables
-Fast Load Cartridge for the C64
-Texas Instruments power adaptor
-P-SC Q4 Instruments (don't know what this is it's a box with a female 25 pin connector with a 25 pin male ribbon cable.
-StarDOS cart
-TI carts Munch Man, Chisholm Trail, Hunt the Wumpis, HesWare Paint Brush Cart
-TI-99/4A Video Adaptor
-500XJ controller
-TI Wico Command Control (Looks like 2 controller ports to 1 controller port adaptor)
-Wico Joystick
-2 C64 Keyboards 1 white 1 brown
-just the key part of a commodore keyboard
-20-30 different commodore TI cables.

Any input would be a big help. I don't know if I want to keep any of this but I want to find if its worth anything first.

Some of the software are pretty much worthless but some of the hardware might be worthwhile. I'd expect around $10 for each working disk drive (the II are probably worth more as it's more reliable in my experience. never dound a non working II yet)

Those diagnostic cart seems interesting, who made it? Commodore or 3rd party?

the 1541's if working are worth around $10-$15
The 1541-II needs a external power supply, do you have it? if so you could sell it for 9.99 as it fits a 1581 also

the 14 disks.. pretty worthless but use em as bait on the drives.

the manual and carts all have worth.. the fast load cart is worth $10 at least

The C64's, if working, are woth about $20 online.. if not you can sell em off as parts machines.

My advice is to hook the hardware up and see what is working. Statistically that much Commodore hardware in one lot means some dead stuff.

If you have a working C64 and 1541 put em on Ebay you will get 40-50 bucks plus 15 shipping.

Oh, and if you want to sell the Carts (except Fast load.. got 3 of those already to get rid of) give me a PM. :D

The diagnostic carts do not have any company logos on them. The C64 diagnostic cart doesn't have the original label so I don't know who made that one.

Here are some pictures I took of them with my web cam (sorry for the quality)
This is the Diagnostic - Test VIC 20/VC 20 324159-01
It's 5 1/2" wide

Don't ever toss out a C64, even if it's broken. The SID chips are worth money. The HardSID, QuadraSID and SIDstation synthesizers all use that now hard to find chip.
