How do I get into the 3 pin connector at the end of the N64 pad that plugs into the system?
All I can see is a small hole, I tried pressing in it with a screwdriver and pulling the middle bit, but it wont come out.. does anyone know how to open it?
Im asking as I have a controllers thats not detected when you plug it into the N64, so I think the wires inside may be loose..

it looks like if you use some sorta flat blade you should be able to unclick it but I haven't had any luck doing that as of yet will update as soon as I know more

actually it looks like you would need to engage 3 of the clips to get it out of that plastic piece without breaking it so far I don't have anything to be able to do that maybe trying with somebody else and a lot of flat bladed screwdrivers maybe. Or maybe if it doesn't matter just break that plastic piece of its just cosmetic on the outside its the inside plastic piece you would need still intact with the contacts.

Thanks for that, ive actually got it open without trashing it, I pressed a screwdriver into the hole at the top, and pulled really hard on the plastic in the middle using a pair of pliers...!
