This would be perfect for us old farts with a DS who liked them as a kid, who broke theirs, way back when. Plus they would go perfect with the DS's double screen. :D

Yeah that is the pinnacle of jealousy for the sweet Japanese Club Nintendo Gear.
Has anyone been able to find actual screenshots of it?

So this is not something that you could buy from play-asia or anything? Seems kind of dumb to make this a Club Nintendo exclusive, when it is something that seems like such a perfect fit for the DS. I would think that it would sell pretty well.

It's exclusive to Club Nintendo at this moment.

SWEET!! I really want this now!
I read the article in it's entirety after I got done gawking at it, and it actually keeps the watch feature, and it's accessible from the game and the DS's main screen.
Sucks it only comes with 3 games, though. At least they're all good ones.

I'm getting sick of this crap. Japanese Nintendo Club members gets crazy exclusive DS titles like this for registering their Nintendo games online but what do we get?Metroid demo discs and a free 3-month subscription to Nintendo Power? Bullshit.

I saw it for sale in a display case -- $75. Too steep for me, I think, even though it's pretty cool.

I am trying to source a copy of this as I speak. And I'm willing to pay far more than I should to bag myself a copy. I have my fingers crossed...

I am really tempted to buy one, I will probably regret it when they can't be found anywhere.

The last one on ebay went for $83.
If only club nintendo would post overseas, i must have enough points by now.

I got really excited when I saw the box art for this game. I still think it's a great design.
Then I read that it's 3 games.
For the amount of money this is going for right now, I could just buy the 3 Game & Watch units. (personally, all I need is Greenhouse anyway!)
I'm still hoping that it'll come here as a "Touch Generations" title, though. WITH MORE GAMES.

They're going for roughly $80 & I'm very tempted indeed.

The packaging design alone is worth $80. Damn!

Damn, that's such a tease. Especially when we were all tempted by nostalgia when Smash Bros. Melee had introduced "Mr. Game and Watch" and you damn well knew we had to have one asap. Now, NOJ pulls a stunt like this to piss off the American market, when they knew the G&W were very popular in North America and Europe during the early 80's.

Exactly. I hate how they do this to us. Although, I think we have it better than Europe. They have "Legacy Points" and you have to spend them. We get to keep our totals. Either way, it's bullshit that we can't get this kind of merch state side.

Hopefully, they'll put out a complete Game & Watch Collection. Given the DS's design, how can they not?

My god what a complaining bunch you are :D
Im sure nintendo though hmm, how can we piss off the americans today. I know lets release a G&W collection for the DS.
It isnt exactly free you know, even if your a club nintendo member it costs 400 points & a gamecube game will only get you 30 to 40 points at a time so you can see you have to buy a shitload to get enough to even order it.
If any of you want club nintendo stuff that badly then just shove club nintendo into a ebay search. Its flooded with them at the moment. In fact nearly every item from club nintendo has been up on ebay & one point or another.
& to turn this around, remember the zelda collectors disk. America got it months before japan, you didnt see the net flooded with japanese people all complaining that you got it first.
Be patient, you never know nintendo might be planning to bring it to the US.

I think it's an almost 100% guarantee Nintendo will bring a "Game and Watch Collection 5" to the DS with those 3 games and MORE to the U.S. I mean come on.. they already released 4 of them, and the DS is such a hugely obvious G&W successor right down to the design. Nintendo knows this stuff :P It WILL come. If it doesn't come out within the next 2 or 3 years.. I will eat my hat. Mark that down ;)
Now that being said.. you can play this now if you have one of the DS supercards out there as the rom has been dumped for a little while now. Anyway, that's all I'll say on that subject. Good stuff though. ;)

My got that is some awsome box design, however $80 is just too much for me, and I also do believe that we will see a game and watch collection (with many more games) come to the US in the future.

I would defintely expect for Nintendo to bring out a better G&W Collection for DS sooner or later... they'd be stupid not to. It would sell really well for sure. This will probably just end up being a collector's item (but then again, that's exactly what a lot of you guys would want anyway.)

He can't. He spent his savings on the Game & Watch collection.

That looks sweet :) Damn, i want to get a DS, but then i will just buy more and more games hehe :( Got no room for it and i need to save some money.
EDIT: Does it only include the 3 games and no remakes? Damn.. then i prefer to play the originals instead.

That's what I would be thinking. It's a ton cheaper to play them on a gameboy color but if they have some special features and more than just 3 games I'd be tempted to buy it here in the States. :)
