So you've heard an awful lot about the Space Invaders Collection that Eduardo Mello designed for ColecoVision, sporting TRUE arcade-quality graphics and sound... but were wondering if you'd EVER get your hands on it?

Well here's some news, Jack.

Space Invaders Collection will be published through media giant DIGITAL PRESS at the Classic Gaming Expo and in turn will be available to the public on August 9th! The game will be packaged with a box, manual, and label and will NOT be expensive (definitely no more than $30 without various discounts). There will be a discount for CGE attendees and for pre-orders and the game will be available on the DP website after the show as well.

fucking nice... I take my hat off to anyone who puts forth the time and effort to produce home brew games. Too bad the pipe dream about X-Box being accessable to anyone to develop homebrews was a load of shit.

- Five different "screen types": Taito's b&w and color SI, Taito's color SI Part II, Midway's SI and Midway's SI Deluxe.
- Option screen, allowing all arcade dip-switch settings.
- Exclusive intro (featuring SNES mode 7 like effects). Check the demo at PhillyClassic.
- All arcade hidden features.
