So I got that on eBay for about $20. I was wondering if it was a good deal.

And handhelds are universal, right? I mean, the Australian handheld is no different than the American, right? It's not like PAL/NTSC video game consoles? They can play import and domestic games?

And I think this is a great system to try to get all of the games for. Unlike the NES with 750+ games, the Lynx has a little over 100, and all of them aren't completely impossible to obtain. I know, I know, not much of a challenge, but it's a place to start!

And how much do you think that Atari Lynx I bought is worth?

Worth? Depends on who is buying. Normally, myself, I'd pay around $50 for a new unit in box. I've seen them go for more, but the original unit goes for even more (not much, but more).

As for the unit you got for $20, I think it is a very good deal - as long as it shows up as advertised and is working!

As for the games, most are fairly easy to obtain. Some are getting rather rare, and a few are hard to find. Good luck!

From what I know right now, Lemmings is the rarest game. I saw it on eBay (I don't remember if it was loose or boxed) going for $28.

Lemmings? Wow, everytime I ever see that on a consule or handheld, not to sound lame but they suck with controls. The only systems besides a computer that should have Lemmings are the ones with touch screens for better selection or with mouse adaptors, like the SNES and Playstations, ect. I don't think they made it so you can use the mouse on those systems but if so I'd be currious so I could use mine.

Anyways, be sure to pick up Chip's Challenge! :)

It is a good deal not having it not opened. My brother got a lynx for christmas and it came with 7 games for $40.00 with my lynx was used.

Don't forget about the homebrew games that are being sold at Songbird Productions, goatstore and at atariage.
