I have a Duck Hunt cart which I am not so sure about its authenticity. It has non-GameBit screws, normal silver flat head ones, and the Caution messages on the back differ from my other carts. I have attached some images, tell me what you think.

Only thing I can think of is it's pirated. But that doesn't make sense, because there's not much profit in pirating Duck Hunt.

That doesn't explain the flat head screws.
I'd say open it up and see if the chip is hand soldered.

I think that is the way the 5-screw black labels came. I checked my Gyromite and Duck Hunt and both have them as well.

Well I got the cart from an eBay Australia; however, I have modified my NES to be universal, so I cannot tell if it is Canadian cart. I don't know enough about soldering to tell if it's hand soldered, so I took a few pictures.

Nah man, it's just a canadian version of duck hunt. All of the older games (1984-1986ish, I think) had 5 screws, and they all were flathead. Sometime in 1986 they switched the plastic to have hinges on the top and thus only needed 3 screws to do the job. They changed to security screws then.

Okay, thanks a lot for your help. Now I know where why the screws are flathead, and the differences in packaging.

Exactly what I was thinking. Looks like it was resolved to being Canadian which makes sense because it looks like a bunch of my game cartridges. :)

If you got it from Australia, would it be a PAL Cart

that is most definately a PAL - five screw duck hunt. Nothing strange about that...
