Can anyone point me in the direction of how/where to have standard Activision labels remade? I bought 5-6 carts over the weekend with heavy acti-plaque/mottling and I'd love to have new labels made to replace them. That, and I'm sure games I buy in the future will need them, too. Especially harder-to-find titles like Crackpots and Pressure Cooker.

I know there once was a fellow making repro labels, but his domain has expired, and archive.org isn't giving me much other than the basic design of the site.

I wouldn't be against finding a way to make these myself, provided I can get hi-res scans of the 'screenshot' on the carts and locate the large title font.

Any help is much appreciated.

I also remember there being someone who used to do this, but I haven't been able to find it yet. I'll keep looking, but in the meantime, you might want to try repairing the labels you already have. There was a thread about this recently in the AA forums:

Good luck.

Yeah, I saw that earlier before I posted, but I don't think that spending $50+ on that stuff is worth it since the carts are so cheap.

I figured that I could get repro labels for all the Activision games for close to that price, or I could attempt to make my own, which would be fun. Good scans of those aren't easy to come by.

ARISE.

Bumping this almost 5-year old thread to see if there were any new advancements made in reproducing these labels. I grabbed a Frostbite label file I found out of an AA thread, and it looks really nice, but I've not seen any other titles at all.

If I could avoid having to re-buy my nearly complete Activision set simply for better labels, that'd make me pretty happy.

I have a Photoshop template I made, if that interests you. You would need to change the text (and possibly resize/locate it a little) and add the screenshot to the label, but the fonts and general layout are ready to go.

I made the template for Bloody Humand Freeway and this:

I feel your pain with this, dude.
