Hi Folks!
Ever heard about 2 years ago that KaNyErO tried to port MVS roms to play on a real Neo-Geo CD system but was unsuccessful ? And only CDoty was successful to port 4 (and a half) games ?
Well now it's a reality because i finally found some time to take a crack a this and after a few attemps, i finally discovered how to port MVS roms to the NGCD, and i have to thanks to CDoty for his JoyJoy Kid port.
Since releasing ISO of MVS roms are illegal (copyright SNK playmore), i can't post any ports i've made so far (more than 20) accept for 2 homebrew games that i have authorisation from the programmer.
So here's the URL on how-to do it yourself MVS-to-CD porting:
http://www.chez.com/slydc/mvscd/index.htm
The web site isn't finished yet but the major infos is there and with 2 (rather 3) games to downlaod and burn them to play on your Neo-Geo CD system, which they are: Columns (yes the Sega Genesis version) and Poker Night (either English or French). But be warned that those homebrew games DON'T HAVE ANY SOUNDS. The author didn't programmed any sounds for his games (not yet anyway).
So enjoy and have fun playing new gamesfor your Neo-Geo CD system! :)
