What does one call those non-electronic plastic handheld games from the 70s-80s. They were mostly spring loaded games the used ball berings in play. I remember a few (such as a space invaders clone) using wind-up mechanisms. Most were pachinko or slot machine types. Others involved no balls at all -- racing such.

Can anyone give me a name for these (or manufacturer)? They were really small, maybe 3 by 5 inches.

Tomy Pocketeers (or Pocket Games) is probably what you are thinking of:

Heh, I had 2 of those -- Time's up and Pocket Rally. Brings back memories... (I think I got rid of mine in the early 90s, unfortunately)

I must have a dozen or so of those still packed away. Some of them were really fun. I can't believe I still have them considering how many times I have moved. Now I think it is time to unpack them and give them a try.

I have ones that I believe are older than that. They sit flat, bottoms are made of a metal and have wrap-around plastic. I've got two. One is like a battleship game and the other is a bastekball game.
