I did a search and haven't found any other threads that are dedicated to gunz.

Now first off, anybody that has been playing this game (like myself), know that hackers and cheaters play the game like crazy, but after they did an upgrade, I noticed it is much rarer to find a cheater.

This game is really fun. Is anyone else playing this?

I like the fact that you can play K-Style (Korean Style where you go crazy with swords), or E-Style (I believe it is E, where you use guns), or you can switch between both in midgame.

The best part of this game is finding swappers. Now I do not swap myself, I like to kill the swappers. For those of you that don't play the game, let me explain what a swapper is: Basically this game is a MMOFPS, and the swappers will make a private room and alternate killing each other in order to build up their level. I am the type of person that goes for the level 30 guys, because I will eventually find a swapper that sucks at the game and has no clue how to play it, but got a high level from swapping. I, myself, am level 19.

If any of you guys are playing this game, we could team up and destroy some people, because I consider myself very good at the game, as I can demolish level 20 and 30 guys that aren't even swappers.

For those that do not have the game and are interested (it is free):

This game died out like a year and a half ago. After level 21, it will get insanely hard to level, as your opponents will be practically flying all around the map....Fuck this game. Shotguns and rocket launchers>* Except the level 18 rifle.

I will admit, that the game is insane, and people do fly everywhere. I play on the open channels, not the channels for leveling. You will find the people that you can slaughter, and it makes the game fun when you are in a mixed match with n00bs, guys that are insane and fly around the screen with swords and stuff, and people, like me, that are a mix.

This was my PC game of the year last year. I nominated it here for the Otto Awards as well LOL. It absolutely OWNED my life from July 2005 - February 2006. There were a lot of hackers when I played as well, and I lost a level 50 character twice to being hacked. Needless to say I could play a mean game, often beating a 7-1 on me in Team Deathmatch. All I ever played was TDM, and those of you who know how long it takes to level up after level 30, for me to get to 50 twice via TDM, then you have an idea of how much I played this game :).

I get a craving to start playing time and again, but I refuse to since I know what will happen.

Yeah I played this game a bit. Quite a fun game. It needs a retail release or maybe a steam release.

I messed around with the maps offline and couldn't see what the draw might be. Obviously, that's only a look at half of it, and none of the leveling or gameplay (although I thought the controls were dodgy).

Anyway, for an online FPS I'd hold out for Huxley, really.

Its basically max payne on crack, throw in some melee weapons that are useful, and add some korean skill into it. Everyone being a pro is the reason I gave up on this game. I'd rather play maple story. :D

I played it for awhile last year, but it got pretty old fast. It was fun while it lasted tho.
