If there is a topic that I can post this in, then by all means lock this thread.
anyways, the saga began when I was about eight-or-so. I got a small, plastic black gun toy from one of those candy/toy dispenser things at supermarkets for fifty cents. It was only a couple of days ago that I rediscovered this little trinket after rummaging through some of my old toys. I thought it was cool so I kept it hung by some push-pins on a billboard in my room. one day I was board, so I thought "why not paint this thing?" all I had at the time was whiteout, though that did'nt bother me at all since I'm usually horrible with paints. long story short, I put-on some white-out on the part of the gun where there's supposed to be a wood finish on the handle, colored over it with a brown colored pencil, and trimmed over that with a kind of grey/silerish pencil thing (I got it with a set including a white pencil, gray eraser, moderate, soft, and extra-soft charcoal pencils). I also customised other parts of the gun with magic marker, editing pressumed throughout the project. though small signs of over lapping "paint" showed, I was greatly satisfied with my work.
another day I decided to take-out my Konami Dolls Collection: Solid Snake figure (not all of it, of course. It's still near mint in box). then I tought "now, would'nt that gun work with him?" I tried my creation on some of my other figures before, nearly ripping poor lara croft's hand off. I put the gun in his hand and it fit perfectly! what I was really excited about was the fact that his regular gun was so unamussing; now I had a spare-
a spare that kicked @$$.
...okay, so the standard gun is pretty cool -_-...
true story. you guys have any others?
