Just Cause Demo

I am just wondering what everyone thought of the Just Cause Demo

I played it on Both PC and 360

I prefered it on PC but it was good on the 360

I found it alot of fun though, it was great just parachuting around, or just how many ways there are to do each objective

I really like the openness of it, reminds me of Mercanaries

Though there were some bad things the animations I found kind of blah and driving mechanics were mediocre at best

Still though I have alot of faith for the full game,

I think it's almost a must buy depending on reviews.

Day one buy here, Most fun I've had with a game in a while. Over the top unrealism calls for some funny things to happen. Love the stuntyness the game boasts, kind of reminds me of San Francisco Rush, the way you float through the air after you hit a jump, and I've always loved that.

the landscape looked a bit like far cry, but the parachute thing reminds me of stuff they would do in total overdose...the weird controls, also reminded me of total overdose.

but yeah what weirded me out that I hit pause and I saw a loading screen...it had to load the pause screen!

The overall size of the game is crazy huge. I was jumping around and ended up riding around in a boat. I actually didn't think it was that great though. I'll wait until its used.

Yeah - I'll wait for a price drop. I just wasn't that impressed. It seemed like Max Payne with a tropical locale.

I downloaded the demo this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by it. It's easily the best demo I've played in the 2 days I've had a 360 (Lost Planet is really the only other contender). It could definitely use a little work before release, but if they manage to smooth out the rough spots then it should be another solid GTA-clone.

Loved the demo. After reading the interview in the new Play, it's one of my most anticipated games of the fall.

Man, I'm surprised there aren't more people excited about this one. The more I play the demo, the more impressed I am with it. It's already in my queue to rent online at first priority.

Hell,

I remember being part of a focus group nearly a year and a half ago regarding "Just Cause".

Back then, I was able to see preliminary videos straight from the XBox 360 version, a few months before the 360 was even released.

From what it looks like, the developers didn't change much and the game showed promise even then.

Just remember....

You can thank guys like me for how the final packaging and logos look, simply because we had voted on them.
