How rare is the sega genesis and sega cd carrying case?

I was wondering exactly how rare this was. It is a hard carrying case meant to carry a sega genesis and a sega CD system. It has a picture of the Sega Genesis Game system and the Sega Cd system on the front. I got it at a salvation army a while back.

I wonder if it is a carrying case for a former rental system.

Is it briefcase style, and does it have foam inside or molded plastic?

I have rental cases for a few systems(briefcase w/ foam inside), and I'd suspect they're worth next to nothing. :)
