Downgrader for V2.71 PSP's to be released tonight

Good news for those who regretted upgrading their PSP's firmware to v2.71. Your firmware is finally downgradeable to 1.5! :

Supposed to be released 7 PM (EST) tonight. And if you want to go back to 2.71, just grab the latest version of Devhook and load it up from your memory stick.

I've tried it and can confirm it works perfect.

Had a 2.70 Psp . Upgraded to 2.71. Then downgraded with the downgrader. !.50 firmware on my PSP again :)

Ehhh, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've downgraded several PSP's and never had any problems. They only way you can brick one is if you REALLY screw up.

I think someone released a special downgrade app too. Check PSP Updates for it. Don't know much about it but I think all you do is install it on your PSP, answer a bunch of yes/no questions, and it downgrades your PSP for you automatically. Basically idiot-proof so anyone can do it.
