When I got home I thought "What the Hell did I buy that for?"
I got BC Racers for the Mega CD from eBay today. £2.70 in very good condition.
Yesterday I went into Cash Generator to see what kind of games they had. I got these for £2 each:
Silpheed - Mega CD complete
Top Gun - NES loose
GameShark - N64, loose
I overpaid on Top Gun but the overall price was ok. I wanted to see if my Power Glove would work with Top Gun. It doesn't.:(

Saw on CAG that CompUSA was having another Friday midnight madness sale. Most posts were talking the sale down, but there was a link to the clearance list for each store, so I checked mine out. As luck would have it, these were on the list, and better yet, actually in the store for @14.99 each...

And earlier in the day, at a rummage sale, I found these for a buck each, mixed in with other disc only PSX games:
PS2 Kiosk Dics 2.2
PSX Kiosk Demo Disk 1.16
Not a bad start to the holiday!

I found some neat stuff yesterday.
http://www.robohara.com/pix/blog/zork_book.jpg
A couple of Genesis games ($3), and a Zork "Choose Your Own Adventure" book ($1).
http://www.robohara.com/pix/blog/alien1.jpg
I don't know what the name of these guys are, but I've been looking for them for a LONG time. They are alien and monster guys I had as a kid. I think they may have been in Happy Meals -- I'm not sure.
http://www.robohara.com/pix/blog/alien2.jpg
Here are all the ones I found yesterday. 50 cents each.
http://www.robohara.com/pix/blog/alien3.jpg
I got this a few weeks ago. This is another style, but a complete set. I know these came from McDonalds. 5 colors, 8 figures each = 40 figures.
http://www.robohara.com/pix/blog/candy_butler.jpg
This was the weirdest thing I bought yesterday. It's a talking "candy butler". He's the one on the right. Mason's on the left. When you press a button his eyes (the butler, not Mason) roll around and he says one of about three sayings.

What a crappy weekend, what with all the rainy leftovers from the hurricane hitting the North East. The flea market turnout was abysmal, but I still wound up getting some good stuff. At a single vendor I got the following all for $20:
http://img393.imageshack.us/img393/557/im000416sk9.jpg
Rampart (NES, complete)
Smash T.V. (NES, complete)
Laser Invasion (NES, complete)
Willow (NES, boxed)
Tekken 2 (PS1, complete)
Samurai Shodown III: Blades of Blood (PS1, complete)
Rampart kicks all kinds of ass! It's one of those games I've always neglected for no good reason up until now. I'll definately be hunting down the Genny version.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0278_IMGCustom.jpg
Firstly... Ermm... a Kids Sonic Waistcoat thing... You could say it was an impulse buy like James SMB Skateboard, but i guess my intention is to put it on eBay and see what happens... Unless i shrink, this is gonna go to waste... Id love to knwo some mad retro collector dresses his kid in this... INFACT, PM me if you want you kid looking smart and slick ;)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0279_IMGCustom.jpg
£3.50 for all the games in the Pic. Mainly bought for the Megaman game i needed :)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0280_IMGCustom.jpg
£6 for the Megadrive, had everything apart from 2 Manuals (as sad as that is... buying things for booklets) so it was all for resale/trade
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0281_IMGCustom.jpg
And to go with my talking moving Pikachu, a Mew from the same series of toy :)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0282_IMGCustom.jpg
And awaiting me in the post when i got home was 2 games i treated myself to from eBay :)
Today was a great day for finds :) We got up but the weather wasnt too good, so we drove an extra bit further to goto the indoor boot sale/flea market.
After trawling roudn there we then drove back to the other one while the weather was better (for all of 5minutes) then it started raining again and the floor was just complete mud waiting for some poor person to fall over in! Slippy!

Lots of MD and soem SMS + MCD games. Fairly cheap :)
However a PhStar2 manual!? Did i come seconds too late to the game? or was it just not in there to begin with :P
Im pleased with my Multicart too :)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0288_IMGCustom.jpg
£7, Pokemon and Mario games will fund this purchase... Needed the Smurfs game though, brings back early GC memories!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0289_IMGCustom.jpg
SNES Games £1 each
BAM3 - 50p :D:D:D:D:D
DK64 - 50p
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0290_IMGCustom.jpg
Lovely original Loom with massive 5'1/2" Floppies included! :) £1
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0291_IMGCustom.jpg
Random goodies....
And finally from the boot sales...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0292_IMGCustom.jpg
an Mp3 player for £5...
May not look or soudn anythign special considerign its old, only 256mb and not colour screen etc etc... But recently my iPod died for good (Apple are bastards and refused to repair it, claiming i had damaged it thru misuse despite treating it like a child of my own!) and ive been looking for a small easy to carry cheap mp3 player. Also accepts SD/MMC cards if i feel the need to add more songs, but right now i feel comfortable with 56 songs... as apposed to never knowing what to listen to!
Later on, my Sister was getting dropped off in Leeds City Centre so i thought id hitch a ride and trade in the bulk of spare consoles i had been buildign up and get some games i needed for free :)
This is what i got from trading in consoles at Gamestation today :)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0293_IMGCustom.jpg
I am so pleased with Pop n Twinbee, Prehistorik Man and Joe & Mac!
Trolls was a huge disapointment (I was expecting it to be like the Amiga platformer, but its basically a rip off of Mr Blobby on Amiga (correct me if its actually the other way round))
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0294_IMGCustom.jpg
Needed Clu Clu Land, but at 6 for £5 i thought id get some to stock my online shop... Dr Mario needs a clean BADLY!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0295_IMGCustom.jpg
And finally some PS1 games which i used to play on PC, picked up for nostalgic reasons :)
Today, the family was off down to Liverpool as my younger Sister is moving down there for University and was pickign up her accomodation keys today so i thought id go help out, then check out the shops
(i know my way round easily as my family come from there and alot of relatives still live there)
In the shops i found these:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0296_IMGCustom.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/cauterize4/finds2/102-0297_IMGCustom.jpg
Finally tracked down a nice cheap copy of Clockwork Knight.. i know its not rare or anything, but i really enjoyed it when i played it years and years ago. Considerign it was Buy one get one free i snagged a copy of Magic Carpet for nostaliga.
Believe it or not, yeah i bought the Madden game... :embarrassed: Im going for a full PAL MD set and, well, this was one i needed.
SNES games were about £10 for all 4.
Parlor Games and Quackshot were 50p each, both to stock on my shop.
This weekend has been great for uncommon SNES games i needed :) anjd i have lots to be keeping me busy!

Sunday's finds:
At one booth I had to haggle for these items...
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/Sales/ducktales2.jpg
Duck Tales 2! It's a loose cart, and has some stickers in the back but it's otherwise in PRISTINE condition! One of the vendors wanted $8 for it, but then the guy that actually -owned- the booth said "It costs $3, or two for $5." I decided to take this only since the other games were common. I then had a discussion with the person that wanted to sell me the game for $8, seems she was basing her price on another guy who has a game booth near her.
I told her, "That guy sells the single most common Nintendo game ever for $10. A game that doesn't cost more than a quarter." Yep, SMB/DH for $10. And he wonders why I avoid him...
At that same place:
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/Sales/wc2deluxe3.jpg
Wing Commander 3: Heart Of The Kiralthi (4 CDs) - $3 (Ignore the other CD, this is just an auction picture.)
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/Sales/tmnt2.jpg
TMNT II: The Arcade Game in incredible condition - $2.50
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/Sales/ducktales.jpg
Duck Tales in incredible condition: $2.50
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/Sales/spacequest.jpg
Space Quest 1 - $5. The seller wanted $8 but I found out that it's missing the 3 1/2" floppies. :( I looked at the other boxes and it seemed a ton of the stuff she was selling had missing media. She was pissed, to say the least. And so was I. :(

I spend too much time in Gamestation. I took some stuff in to trade for a DS Lite but left the Master System games in the car because I was only expecting 20p each.
I asked how much I could get for them and he said "Not much, probably 50p if they aren't rare ones. But I can give you 75p because you're a regular". It doesn't sound like much, but an extra £2.50 for 10 games helps. £7.50 credit for 10 common games.
It's kind of sad that they know me now, but at least they don't know my name. LOL
£45 credit for a loose DS with a 3rd party charger, and some scratches on the case. He didn't even look at it, let alone turn it on.
He wouldn't take my PSOne because they'd lost the TV remote, so they couldn't tune the TV to test it. And he only offered 50p each for some PS1 games because he had too many and not enough space. He said I'd be better off trading them in at the Gamestation in town. Fair enough.
With 2 old PS2 games, I got £13.50 credit in games, and £45 for the old DS. They had a deal for a DS Lite and any game for £110, so I got Yoshi Touch and Go. I ended up paying £51.50 for them.
I'm glad I didn't pay full price for Yoshi Touch and Go. It seems like it's supposed to be a £10 budget game. They could have at least added some mini games.

found this at a thrift that i frequent semi-regularly, AND HAVE NEVER BOUGHT ANYTHING AT, EVER. it was all bundled together in shrink wrap, so i took a crapshoot on the games (couldn't see them all). the 2 NES systems pretty much make the purchase worthwhile though.

snagged this puppy from the local craigslist. it's a Japanese unit. it's a bummer that tekken 3 is missing it's manual (and case, actually... that's a US intelligent qube case it came in), and that devil dice disk is loose... but the beatmania pad made it worthwhile i think. plus now i can go track down a copy of vib ribbon to play... :)

lastly, today's find from two different thrift stores. pretty happy about the NES cleaning kit, it looks brand spanking new!

Fox plush. I couldn't resist. :P I thought it was a normal one but then I did search online and several pages said that it spoke... so I poked it and it barked at me. Hee. I poked it again and it spoke. It says "My name is Fabian Fox. Would you like a cafe au lait?" Cost: $1

Got it all yesterday. Everything pictured was $10 each from a local shop. The 5200 trackball works perfectly. The Coleco driving controller works but needs to have the wheel tightened back down. The Coleco trackball trackball works but the buttons need to be cleaned.
Not a bad haul for one incidental visit to the shop :D

Kind of a meh weekend, although I finally obtained a personal grail that made my day today ;)
http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/8113/im000417bw4.jpg
For the PS2, Ys VI (too lazy to spell that subtitle :P) and Contra: Shattered Soldier came from EB Games for too much, $35 something. I passed up on a like new (case wise) $40 copy of ZoE: 2nd Runner. Kind of pricey, but I'm regretting that already ;(
Everything else came from the flea market. You can't go wrong with $5 PS2 titles, even if one of them is mediocre crap like Capcom Fighting Evolution. Granada (my personal grail) and Sonic were both complete and $2 each. Ys III for the SNES was $3.

Ys III for the SNES was $3.
Wait, that's Ys III? That doesn't look like the cover of the version I played back in the 90's... maybe I forgot it but it doesn't seem familiar. :|
Anyway, 'grats on the $5 PS2 titles.

Yep, that's Ys III. The full title is Wanderers from Ys III. What system did you own your copy for? I think the Genesis version has the same cover art on the box as the SNES one.

Suikoden Tactics - New - 9.99
Konami Collector's Series: Arcade Advanced - new - 5.98
Military Madness - used complete - 7.99 :D
And the real kicker, last night I traded in 8 1 to 5 dollar games at Strawberries (a music store chain owned by FYE) and received a 100 dollar gift card from the transaction. All in all the games I traded in cost me 20 to 25 dollars at the most out of my own pocket.
