rare Vectrex find????? HELP ME OUT ON THIS ONE...

Today I bought this fantastic thing for the Vectrex; but I need some answers. Maybe you can help me out:

I was expecting one of those little bar/mini-arcade things that have been mentioned a lot, but THAT is one sweet looking setup.

I bought it for 100 euro, that is like a 100 $ US...what do you think? Expensive? I thought it was a good price forit since I never saw this kind of set.

well considering anything vectrex is usually rare and expensive , and 2) the fact that no one here yet seems to have seen one or know what this is, I'd say you probably have a pretty good find , even for $100.

i passed this topic along to the experts, the vectrex newsgroup- rec.games.vectrex. if anyone can ID that thing it would be someone there, perhaps some of the euro collectors who frequent that group.

Cool find!! These are the Vectrex stands they had at Intertoys (a Dutch chain of toy stores) back in the day. I know where another one is located, somewhere in Amsterdam :-D

Wow, I don't even collect Vectrex stuff...but if I saw that I'd probably have bought it. I mean, holy hell...that's the next best thing to having a Vectrex arcade machine (as if) in your house. In fact...BETTER, since this is compact (unless you think you're gonna manage to get some quarters from your friends playing a vectrex...whoa boy, got off topic there).

Anyways, for what it's worth I've never seen anything like this. (Edit: Reading is my friend, ehe)

Anyways, that is certainly the coolest piece of gaming I've seen all day, probably all week :o
