Was this ever figured out? (2 Game Gear questions)

Did it ever get figured out if by some way it is possible to play Game Gear games on a Master System? I know the inverse is possible, the Master Gear, but is this possible is what I am asking.

Also, has it been decided what games were actually released for the Game Gear, as I am looking to start collecting Game Gear stuff.

you can make a pin mapper, but the games will all have the wrong color because the game gear had better color ram (could handle more colors)

Playing GG games on a Master System isn't possible due to the larger GG colour pallette.

I haven't tried that, but Fusion32 is awesome - and plays Genesis, Sega CD, 32x, SG-1000, everything.

The TV output has been successfully reconstructed.

Chris Covell has also managed to port some games from GG to MS, but that is dependent on the game. Some GG games put a lot of junk into the screen areas that are not visible on the real GG.
