Recently, I've been having a blast playing through HotD 3, 2 and even 4 in the arcades again and always wanted to try out HotD for the Saturn. Since the domestic one goes for way too much, hows the import one compare to the US one? Does it have mostly/full English text and voice? Any other noticeable differences between the two?

The Jap one is very playable and quite fun. you don't need to know japanise to play it. Just make sure your saturn can play it before you buy. A light gun is also a must

I echo that. I also wanted to play HOTD and didn't want to drop the cash for the US version. I will have to look, but I believe the voiceovers are English with Japanese subtitles. And yes, a Stunner is necessary. While you're at it, why not pick up a Japanese Stunner? They are relatively affordable, jet black and kicka$$.

As for the game itself, I'm sure you are aware, but it is one of the ugliest titles out there for the Saturn. I had always hoped for a perfect conversion of HOTD on the DC, XBox, etc. but it was not meant to be. HOTD 2 is the best one anyway.

There's one key difference:

The option to enable red blood is missing from the Cheat Menu, so you're stuck with green blood unless you get the domestic version.
