September NAVA Meeting September 30th

Though the August gathering looked as if it would include guests from far away places - possibly even other planets - some plans fell through and NAVA was just "ordinary". Behold, the sights of August:

As you can see, there were still plenty in attendance with lots of gaming, trading, and (gulp) singing going on. Well here we are, preparing for the next big one and it looks like we'll be seeing folks from the north, south, midwest, and even across the border within our happy confines. A veritable invasion, if you will, of gamers.

"SO WHEN IS IT, AS I MUST BE THERE" you cry out.

Relax. I always give you the details at the very end.

WHAT: Remember to bring your trade stuff, because there's lots of that. We've also got six arcade cabs, a networked computer room, and several game consoles hooked up to monitors about the store. No shortage of gaming if that's your thing.

Oh yeah. If you're looking to buy or sell something specific, it's a good idea to post in the DP forums. Attendees usually check in there to see what others are looking for before they load up for the trip.

FINALLY.

I have that Sat. off, so I will be coming to the store for the first time. I am 98% sure that I will be carpooling with TheSmirk. And for the first time in years, I have a trade box! Wheee! I have lots of complete 7800 games, a few complete 5200 games, an Inty system with many complete games, and I'm considering getting rid of my Game.com collection, which I know all of you will be fighting over. :P

I am looking for either a complete 7800 Tank Command, or just the box and docs. Please keep in mind that I don't have a spare 400 dollars. Help me. :(

I'm definately going this month, although I'll only be there from noon until about 6PM. I will be bringing a ton of stuff and I'll post pictures and a list closer to the date.

Items will include:
4 port 5200 with box 10 games, and 4 controllers, Colecovision system w/ assorted loose cartridges, 2600 with assorted loose cartridges, NES toaster system, SNES system, Atari 800, Genesis Prototype - Joe Montana II, timex sinclair, assorted pong and tank systems both boxed and loose. Maybe even some JAMMA boards.

I need to clear this stuff out to make room and I don't want to be brining it back home. I'm looking for TG-16 cards, an MVS board board 1 or 2 slot w/ carts, and atari 800 carts. Oh and cash will work good too, and is actually prefered.
