Whatever you do, don't give us any more information. Just a few words and some big ass pictures do a great post make.

I think we all know what sword it is, but we would like to know the story behind it.
Custom made? Contest prize? Promotional item? etc etc.

LOL
A High School production of: Legend of Zelda
Link: I'm getting on my horse and making my way to Gannon's castle (moves a little on his broom stick horse but stops when the gallop sounds fail to start)
Link: *I SAID* I'M GETTING ON MY HORSE AND GOING TO GANNON'S CASTLE!! (waves wooden sword in air and awaits gallop sound)

THANK YOU! That was driving me nuts for a while. That does not look like him from that angle to me.
Now back on topic...when do you plan to take that to the blacksmiths and make it a tempered sword? :P

hahahah sorry for the lack of info. I was in a hurry when i posted it.
I made it in 8th grade shop class a couple years ago and completely forgot about it till a couple days ago i found it in my closet. Ill try and get some more pics up. Everyone else was making toolboxes, but my shop teacher asked if I wanted to do anything cooler. Too bad he doesnt teach in the highschool, I would've kept making VG related wood pieces.

Hahaha yep.
It's actually pretty durable too. A double sided bolt holds the solid blade to the handle, making a makeshift tang.
We used it to smash Blank cd's and Shakira cd's
Also works well against lamps
