I got an early start on my garage salng today. I was looking through a box of awesome Classic Rock Records, when I notice something behind it. It's a large box with Mario on it I look more closely and it has Zelda on one side and the back. It looked like it was in decent shape and had a $8 sticker on it, so I offered $5 and got it.
Before now I was just storing my extra games wherever I could find room, but now I have a good place to store them.
It took me a while to find a picture of one, but I got one. http://images.google.com/images?q=tbn:H90ma2957tO7HM:http://www.nesplayer.com/database/merchandise/general/toybox1.jpg

You posted this on Nsider, too :P

I will just reply here, however. That is an awesome find. Try seeing if it is licensed by Nintendo or maybe home-made.

I've seen a few of those on eBay. One seller wanted $20 + $40 shipping for it so of course I passed it up. It's a cool way to store your high end or more sentimental games.

I don' see the Seal Of Quality but it does have the Registered sybmbol by Super Mario Bros and Legend of Zelda, if that means anything. I know it's not home made because my cousin used to have just like it, except his was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and my sisters both have New Kids on the Block ones. I think the company used to make them for everything.

That is damn cool, what are the dimensions on it?

There is actually one on ebay right now with a starting bid of 50.00 + 25.00 SH. Appears to be the exact same one.

I would say you did pretty good for $5 8-)

I'm too lazy to measure, but it looks to be 16" high, 12" wide and 12" deep. Almost a cube.

Anyone ever seen the similar NES tv-stand thingy? It had a spot for your NES, cabinet space for your games/junk, and your TV could sit on top. Saw it in a Nintendo merch catalog about fifteen years ago.

Anyone got one?

I had one of those when I was a kid. It had mario and the nintendo logo on the front where there was a door that opened up to hold all your games and stuff. Great piece. Wish I still had it.

NES_Rules - if your wondering, the reason why the posted image appears as something and your quotes appear as
something is because you have turned off BBCode.

If you go into your Profile (Link at the top of the page), you can turn it on for keeps.

Hey, thanks for that. I figured out before why it was doing that, but I always forget to enable the BBCode. I didn't know I could enable it all the time.
