Original TG 16 Turbo Booster

I just got one of these for the first time and all I can say is WOW. I can’t believe what a difference this thing makes. The audio is a slight improvement but the video is a HUGE improvement. I never thought that plain old composite video could look this good but it does. I highly recommend picking up one of these if you have an original TG 16.

I actually think the audio improvement is the much bigger deal. Playing a game like Dungeon Explorer in true "Stereo" sound is pretty damn amazing, espcially if you got it hooked up to a decent stereo setup. Games like Power Golf sound pretty damn amazing too! You wouldn't think a Golf game would have great music, but I'm telling you, try playing some Power Golf and see if your toes don't start tapping! :D

At the prices they go for though, might as well save up and buy a turbo CD instead, same effect, and you can play cd games.

yeah i think those things are pretty nice. I managed to get one for a reasonable price in a lot with some games/controllers on ebay. there's definitely a big improvement both in the quality of the music and picture.

Also back when I was playing my turbo with rf I had it hooked up to an 80's tv that I play my 2600 and nes games on. Once I switched to my new flatscreen tv I ended up seeing all kinds of colors and things that weren't there before. It was pretty cool, ended up playing all my games over again to see the difference. I finally got a duo a little while ago so I don't really use the booster but either way it's a very nice accessory.
