In the last two weeks that DP has been down (mostly down..) a lot has happened in my life. I won't go into details.. but I'm afraid that day I have been talking about the last year or so has come; and it is time for me to get out of "retro game" collecting (besides.. I don't enjoy it anymore) and on with real life.

I'm starting off rather slowly though. Last week while DP was down.. I started listing all my "excess" consoles on evilBay. I'm still keeping one (2 in some cases) models of each console for the moment, but I'm weeding out some I don't need. It's been going rather well (although most consoles have already sold on eB) and I'm rather beginning to enjoy seeing cash "inflow" into my bank account rather than go the opposite way.

Having said all that.. I WILL be getting rid of the bulk of my games as well (see my collection in sig). I think the ones I'm going to keep are most of the curent gen ones (that to me being XBX,PS2&GCN) and a few select older PSX RPGs and any games having "mechs" or "mecha" themes (Which is why I started collecting in the first place.).

I will probably be wittling away at my collection over time as I am now currently unemployed and would rather have $ trickle in for support rather than make a windfall. If there's something anybody sees that they really want.. feel free to contact me and make me an offer. Keep in mind I won't be selling big, discounted lots though as that would defeat my purpose. Spartacus & carnage6.. you guys have been so nice to me in the last couple years that I'm giving you some free credit as thanks; so get in touch.

Anyways.. I currently have sales on eB so check the eB forum for more info. Seeing as how it's always so frickin' hard to avoid the loser eBay citizen police force I am going to offer my hardchip modded Saturn here. It's in GREAT shape.. plays all region CD-Rs and yet.. oddly.. still can't play legit NTSC/JAP titles without a STkey (I always thought a chip would allow everything to be played.. guess not). Comes with a stock model2 controller, that super pad one, a golf game minus the casing and an A/V & power cord (NO CD-Rs!). Shown playing Radiant Silvergun and SF III. I did notice while I was testing it last week that in order to get sound out of the left channel you have to put a LOT of pressure on the plug in the back (as in pushing it in) so it may have a loose connector. I mean constant pressure so if you can figure a way.. it's fine.

I'm asking $50 for it shipped. Payment via PayPal only.

And yes.. about the TurboDuo thing. I just saw one sell on eB today for $610 and it was in no better shape than mine! Sooo.. I'm seriously considering trading a boxed TurboDuo with controller, PSU and A/V cord (no manual) for.. an Xbox 360. I have games for it as well.. the original pack-in games:

.. but not this banner that was on the outside of the box proclaiming them. I also have Loom and Vasteel (both complete). Bomberman is currently for sale on eB, but there is a hidden version on one of the pack-in CDs.

A core system or deluxe wouldn't matter as long as there's a way to save (mem card or HD). I'm also looking for Chromehounds and Dead Rising.. that's it. This may be a long shot but I thought I'd throw it out there. I'm going to contact the more credible losers from the aforementioned auction and see if they would buy it for a set price.. in which case I could buy an 360 and then some.

Thanks to all for your attention.. see the eB forum for more.

Saturn has been sold boys & girls. Turbo Duo is going up on eBay next week. Parts are already starting to roll in for my new PC and I'm getting psyched! (Finally!.. I can check out Homeworld II and X2! Yeah.. my current PC is THAT old & underpowered. )

Thanks to everyone for their interest.
