Well, the game sucks. It's just one of the rarest NES games and a lot of people need it to complete their collections.
The fact that it is sealed makes the price a little higher too.

You should try it. I sold a copy to an underbidder of the $800 auction for $650... it might work. And then you might be able to buy it back the next time they're a sane auction. I bought one back for $400 and since $250 is what I spent on the first one, it ended up being free, basically.

are you guys serious that this game is selling in the + $ 600 range now?

i bought mine in like 2002 for like $ 50

It's selling for more than it used to. 600 + is still way way too much in my opinion (it's really not that hard to come by) but I did get 650 for mine.

I'll pay you $385 max for it. That's all it's worth to me. Really, it is a rare game but shows up more often than nought for me to be dishing out butt loads of money on it. A sealed Myriad I'd dish it out for (and I am) but not Cheetahmen II.

If this is a legit bidder the seller must have had a huge laugh out of this.
It's plain insain to pay this much for it, i guess if the winner is legit he is close to finishing his collection.
Otherwise i see no other reason to bid this high.
