FS: Broken Dr. V64

A few weeks ago I mentioned something about finding a copier at the flea market. Well, I finally took the pictures, so here they are.

The system has several scratches and is quite dirty.

Also note that the TOP connector (the part that plugged into the N64's bottom) is broken due to the idiot that tore the N64 before I could get to it.

Here's a picture of the serial...

And two pictures of the RAM. I dunno how much that's supposed to be.

There were no cables found with this thing. Now, I am aware that these things go for $100-$150 if they're in good condition and working, but this is UNTESTED and it's definitely not in good condition. :P So. I'm looking to see if anyone would be interested in buying this off me. I'm certain it can be repaired, or at least used for parts. So please make me an offer. I cannot do "shipped" prices because of its weight. So please take that into consideration when shooting an offer. Kay? Kay.

If you're looking for one that works, go here (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=92279) and ask holistic about it.

WTB: FF7 Non-GH manual!
I recently stumbled upon a copy of FF7, original print, on the Mexican flea market near my home. The only thing it's missing is the manual. So, I'm trying to see if I can buy one from the people here.

Anyone? I'm not looking for the Greatest Hits version, but an ORIGINAL version.

I'm willing to trade for stuff on my trade list (see my sig for details).

Thanks!

I could be completely wrong here, but I thought the GH manual was the same as the original. Is this wrong? I have both versions, and they both appear to have the same manual. The case art is different, obviously, but the manuals appear to be the same. Did I get a copy of FFIV with a wrong manual in it? It is possible, since I bougth them both used. I dunno, but maybe that will help.

Well, the cover is different. That makes a huge difference in value.

Also, I don't own any PSX games, so this may be wrong, but I've heard that the contents of Greatest Hits manuals are reprinted in black and white, whereas the original versions are usually (but not always) printed in full color. As I said, I don't really own any PSX games so I don't know if this is true or not. :)

I got out the different manuals, and they are virtually identical, both are printed completely in color. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "the cover is different." Do you mean the cover for the manual itself, or the jewel case art?

In most playstation games, the front cover of the manual also serves as the jewel case art, but this isn't true for multiple disc games that use the double jewel case. (the 'fat' case like FFVII uses) For these cases, the jewel case art is seperate from the manual, which is housed inside the double jewel case.

Obviously, the jewel case art is different, because the GH version has the huge green stripe on it. But the actual manual from the GH version doesn't have the big green stripe on it. If you only need the manual (not the jewel case art) then they are virtually identical.

Now, I say "virtually" indentical because , when I hold them up right next to each other, the GH version has a slightly larger Playstation and SCE logo. The difference is very, very slight. You would never even notice if you just saw one, and then the other. Anyways, other than that barely noticeable difference, they appear to be identicle.

I only bring it up, because it might make your search slightly easier. It would be nice if someone else who knew could weigh in on this.

Wow, I'm surprised. I saw a copy of the FF anthology with V and VI at the same place, and it was also on a fat case... its manual had the green stripe on it.

Oh well. Thanks for your input. :)
