DS New Mario Bros Completed with 3 stars

Hey Guys,

I've played and finished New SMB on the DS (awhile back), but only had 1 star next to my file name, so i did all the alternate exits as well, that got me 2 stars, i have all the star coins and have spent them all, i have all the wallpapers, and all the warp cannons, and each world is marked as complete on the bottom screen.

What am i missing to get the third star. :roll: Any peeps out there have the answer?

I can only think you've missed an exit somewhere. Finding them all and spending all the coins possible should give you three stars.

The places with alt exits are:

1-2
1-Tower
1-5
2-3
2-A
2-4
3-2
3-Ghost House
4-1
4-Ghost House
5-2
5-B
5-Ghost House
7-Ghost House
7-4
7-5
7-6

make sure you actually play all the canon levels, even though you don't need to... you won't get the star unless you actually 'complete' those levels.

I had three stars already when I beat the game, but one other thing that you might need to do is to open a mushroom house on the first point of each world.

Yeah, i had trouble with that third star too, i ended up having to go into each of the cannon levels and blasting out...

That was it.. i hadn't used all the cannons!.. So now i have my 3 stars, No what LOL
