getting the cat piss smell out of games

so i thought i had a really sweet find today, until i got it home and really inspected it. i got a turbografx with turbo cd attachment and with carrying case.... and 30 games or so.

i set the bag down on the floor and my cat immediately jumps off the couch and shoves its head in the bag smelling it. so i grab a game and smell it.

every single game smells like cat piss.

recommendations for getting the smell out?

Soak them in diesel fuel. :)

Seriously though...you're going to have a hard time getting rid of that smell, unfortunately. I would clean everything as best you can with rubbing alcohol. Open up the system, games and controllers and clean them inside as well if necessary. Throw the carrying case in the washing machine if possible. Then, just let everything air out or put it in a closet and spray it daily with Febreeze or a similar product and hope for the best.

i have had this before, i use a solvent (yea yea i know but i havent had it kill any thing yet) from a company called Hi-Tech, same company makes a vynil dye i posted about, any way it has gotten that smell out of other games i have had.

i havent had it eat any plastic but i dont let it sit on there either, cleans pretty well, been using alot lately.
