I'm curious how collectors male or female decide when is enough or how to limit or minimize your collection. Cause I would like to collect everything video games. I knnow its a big goal mainly console and what not and not the arcade ones even thought they are nice as well. Please any info might help me out.

I bet this topic has been done before and might be linked. However, I want to make sure your efforts aren't in vain :D
I do it based on how many hours I have available to play every week versus the number of games I have. When I get to the point where I go weeks without playing a game (or never), then I start to wonder if I really need to have it around. That is just my opinion.

If it fits in the game room, buy it.
My room is much to small, but I am counting on have a larger house one day, and that house will be chosen to have plenty of space....until then clutter it is...
Gaming and Game Collecting are intertwined hobbies. Reading the opinions of all sorts of people on these boards makes it clear that everyone has there own way of 'collecting'.
The clutter is such in my game room that I feel I am actually stepping into another world, which sets the stage for the gaming in the room...
Keep on collecting I suggest, worry about space later.
Only thing that has troubled me is that I spend more time money, and effort collecting than actually gaming...but I keep saying, 'So What?'

I decided this when I first started collecting games. I just limited it to US releases. That way I've got a broad selection with some form of boundaries.
Although the Brigandine Grand Edition is really challenging those limits.

I've really started to slow down lately because my room has become so crowded. Now I only buy stuff that is an incredibly good deal.

If it fits in the game room, buy it.
And if it doesn't fit buy it anyway and make it fit. Make use of your room. Clothing is a big waste of space, get rid of half of it and put that dresser to better use.
Fill your closet, under your bed, anywhere you can.
Buy some of those clear stacking pullout bins and stack them to the ceiling and fill'em up! you really only need enough walking space to get to your bed and maybe the dresser for the few clothes you have left.
Any open wall space should be covered with custom shelving full of games.
Tack any posters, toys, etc to the top of your ceiling. My toy room is like this wall to wall. The ceiling is basically covered with simpsons figures.
