Does anybody know if EB and Gamestop are taking pre-orders yet for the Wii?
I don't know if EB or Gamestop is, but I know FYE was taking pre-orders a few weeks ago.

Not yet. Although with Nintendo announcing 4 million units, with the bulk going to North America, I would imagine that they would start taking pre-orders relatively soon. Maybe as early as next week. Only thing is, they might want to start doing Wii and PS3 pre-orders on the same day, and they might not still be ready to start taking PS3 pre-orders, because they probably don't have specific allotment #'s from Sony yet.
Best bet is to just check in daily, but if there really is going to be 4 million units, then it might be a situation where you can walk into a Target or Toys R Us that Sunday morning and get one without issue. Still, I would rather have one pre-ordered, so I don't have to worry about it.
