Has anyone tried using car wax with an abrasive in it to fix scratched discs? Gets rid of scratches in cars... So, who knows.

At a place that I rent video games/movies from, they use turtle wax on their disc's. So I started using them on some of mine, seems like it works a little bit.

I've said it a lot.
High Speed Car Buffer. $39 at the auto parts store. Turn it up high and holding the cd in both hands lay it on the spinning pad, rotate until the whole disc is done.
Comes out looking like new.

Gamestop and maybe EB sells a type of fluid you can drip onto your CDs and then buff out the scratches. I did this on a couple of massively scratched up Dreamcast discs and they both are working great again.

Go to Game Crazy and have them use their buffing machine to remove scratches. they use various buffing solutions for lite and heavy scratches. They even sand down the CD with a ultrafine sanding disc if the scratches are really heavy. Now you won't be able to remove top level scratches if you have any (basically the CD is screwed if you have top layer scratches).
