as I mentioned already earlier, Nintendo Game Cube didn't sell in the UK, and now the UK shop chain Dixons (incl. PC World, Currys) are removing all Game Cube stock and placing it in the bargain bins for £99.00 incl. free game.

If and when Woolworths starts to do the same, remains to be seen.

Good news for gamers, as GC games can already be found for around half the price at 'Game', formerly known as 'Electronic Boutique'.

I was gonna give the GC one more year in the UK, it seems that I was wrong.

99 pounds? That brings the GC price down to the same as those sold in USA ($150 US and one free game is included)

According to this, they AREN'T dropping the 'cube. It's just cheaper. The stock isn't moving anywhere yet.

The RRP is dropping everywhere. And who the hell buys videogames at Dixons/Currys anyway?

What surprised me, is that Sears never carried ANY Gamecube stuff (OK, OK, I know it's SEARS, but I actually had a $100 certificate and was gonna buy my GC there long ago...)

How easy is Doshin the Giant to pick up in Europe? I'm coming at the end of the month and I wanted to get a copy.

VERY EASY, and it's reduced at most places in the UK.

As for the topic.. *snow falls outside* "The sky is falling!?, THE SKY IS FALLING I TELL YOU!!!"
