For those of you in Northern Jersey, I checked out the new arcade at the Rockaway Mall today, called game World. The old one was closed a fe wmonths ago after it degrade dinto a drug hangout and they had removed most the games except for the big ones.
The new place is alot cleaner and brighter then the old, and resemble sone the smaller arcades one would find down the shore. Soon as you go in, you see the counter with the prizes for ticket games, which they have plenty of like skee ball and a few those games where you drop the coin in and hope you get something back. The arcade as a childish atmosphere too it, apperenty by the "carnival" backdrop outside the arcade.
Now to the games...well mostly they have the larger machines there and gun games such as Gun Crisis 2, that artic skiing game 9which isn't working) and a few others. There's a few pinball machine spresently mixe din with the arcade machines of Die hard Arcade, MK4, NFL Blitz to name a few. Only nostalgic game there is Galaga.
