AHHHHHHH!!!!!! Man i am so happy today!!!! i finally finally finally COMPLETED my copy of Flintstones surprise at dinosaur Peak and i just had to share the joy with my fellow collector buddies!! Well after being stranded with a mint box and cart for about 2 years i finally tracked down a manual and was able to TRADE FOR IT! Yep the guy who owned this sweet manual decided to trade it and hooked me up!!!

Heres what the deal looked like:

MY:
SNES Manuals:
Ballz 3d
Knights of The Round
Samurai Showdown
Tetris 2

N64 Carts:
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3
Armorines
Mario Kart 64
Super Mario 64
Offroad Challenge
Tom and Jerry Fists of fury
Pokemon Stadium 2

FOR HIS:

Flintstones Surprise at Dinosaur Peak NES Nintendo Manual.

4 SNES manuals and 7 N64 carts for the manual. I thought i got a good deal considering i have been looking for this manual for so long and really wanted it to complete my copy, more than i wanted those carts and manuals. So WOO!!! and good luck to everyone else who is still looking for one. keep your eyes peeled and youll find one sooner or later. !!

nice, but is the box faded? The color is more vibrant on the manual and cart label.

I was going to say the same thing. It looks faded in both the pictures!

Congrats none the less! :D

its not faded that bad, the picture makes it look worse than it is i guess since it was a rental it probably gotta lot of sunlight. but it sure is mint though so i cant complain.

Congrats man :) One really hard game to find complete. Definitely one of those games you have to piece together during your time of collecting. Also, does anyone know if this game came with any inserts? I highly doubt it did as it was only a rental game but I'm just curious if anyone else knows different.

Looks great. Too bad the box is faded though. Mine is like that too. Maybe all the Flintstone's 2 boxes are like that.

yea i dunno norkusa. its weird i didnt even realize the different colors until i just got the manual lol. i always thought thats just the way the box looks. And it honestly could be??? i mean i could have taken another picture that would totally hide the fade and make it match perfect with the manual, but i didnt. its all just a condition of lighting, and in both of these pics they were taken beside a wondow with some cloudy sunlight which makes them look a little pail. Honestly I haveent really seen a box that was as bright and vibrant as the manual and cart before though? So maybe your right, they might all look like that. but im not sure? Burnambill from nesworld said this copy looked to be the mintiest copy he has ever seen. But im sure someone else out there might have a mintier brighter one though. :)

Nice score, Parpunk. I know how that one feels! :)

I don't think my box is too faded, however it's far from mint. But, like those have said before, you can't be too picky when it comes to F2 complete. LOL

Here's mine if you wanted to see what my box looked like:

No, the front of the box is not supposed to be faded on the front of the box like that. Look at the color on the side of your box in the second picture, it should look like that (ignoring the long gash from a knife on the side of your box). I bought an absolutely MINT CIB copy on eBay in 2000 for $80 which, at the time, I felt was too high but I was desperate LOL

Anyway, congrats nonetheless. The manual is definitely the toughest part to find, anyone can snag a mint cart or box. You can always upgrade the box later anyway.
