They say when you get a cabinet, you can't stop at just one. I'd love to own a dedicated (or at least a close conversion) Street Fighter 2, but I don't have any more room!

Just wondering but what runs in the mame cab? Am i right in thinking there is a pc in there which runs an arcade emulator?

Just read the sister thread over at n-g.com - it's a modded Xbox with mame on it, rewired... I highly recommend reading about the mame cab too, it's an interesting read, didn't even know those things existed!

Modded Xbox. That cabinet was a Pro-Play Home Arcade, a cabinet for NES that Toys R Us sold in 1989 or thereabouts. i added new controls, more buttons and pad-hacked some Xbox controllers. I think the Xbox is soooo much more convenient than a PC.

Why yes, yes they are. And I got them..... Uh...hell, I don't remember. Before the internet came around, must have been at Dragon*Con or something.
I have a bunch of other kits that I need to fix up, but I've been way out of modeling lately.
