Warpzone Video Games is *now* taking pre-orders for a new system that plays both NES and SNES games! The system includes two controllers, A/C Adapter and AV cables.

For a limited time Warpzone Video Games will be taking pre-orders for the SC Twin with free shipping for the system and is available here:

http://www.warpzonevideogames.com/product.php?productid=20780&cat=0&page=1

Due to it's secret nature there are no pictures yet available for the system. The scheduled ship date is the end of October to beginning of November.

If you have any questions please e-mail sales@warpzonevideogames.com

Thanks,

Wyatt

I got a report about this earlier, the picture of it was using the same SNES Jr. shell casing. Could be a fake pic though?

Video Game Central is also going to be selling a SNES/NES combo unit that they're caling the SNES Model 3. Its almost the same price and ships on 11/07/06. There's a lot more data on they're unit though than the one from Warpzone.

Here's the link (http://store.videogamecentral.com/supernintendomodel3.html)

My guess is that they're made by the same company and while the internals might be the same, the casing and name maybe the only thing different. I wonder how many other places will be selling these units?

This thing should be pretty cool. It's being distributed by a company called Yobo Gameware who is also quite famous for making an NES clone System which you may recognize:

To you Saint Mary's guys, if you are ever in town you should stop by our store! We just opened a couple of months ago and we have a variety of old school stuff along with the new. Here's a link to another thread with some pics. It's at Atariage...I hope the mods aren't too upset:

If anyone has any reservations about ordering from us I just want to reassure you that we have been in business since 2002 on the web and now have a retail store. We've also attended the Midwest Classic a few times and the Cinci Classic (back when it was good). All pre-orders will be shipped within 1 business day of us receiving our shipment and of course, we are offering free shipping.

Take care,

Wyatt Russell

Sorry to post to my own thread again, but can a mod please go in and fix the image I'm trying to include in my last message? I don't understand how to insert the image into the post so that it just appears. Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like you did it correctly, but there is something else you might have to do.
Did you turn off BBCode for that (or all of your) post(s)? If you did, the image won't show up.
If you go into your profile, you can turn it on for good.

And you might want to post a bigger pic, that thing is tiny!

Is that a pic of the actual system or is that what it could look like?

Also, sorry to post to the competition but I didnot catch on to the fact that you own Warpzone from your first post.

The picture which is still not showing up is of their NES System. The new system will be of the NES/SNES Combo and I don't know what it will look like. Yobo said they would not release a picture of the system because of their competitors so until the system ships I guess the picture won't be available.

If anyone can tell me how to get the image I put in a post earlier to appear I would appreciate it. I checked my profile and the BBCode is on and it looks correct so I don't know.

Thanks,

Wyatt

I'll try to post it:

Edit - Nope, doesn't seem to work. I'd suggest hosting the image on a website like photobucket.com or imageshack.com. I'm sure it will pop up if you do that.

What controls will it use? If the SNES controls, will they offer an adapter to play Gryomite, Zapper, and the Track Pad on the system? If they don't play on offering an adapter, let them know that it will be something that most enthusiasts will have a have a problem with.

I fixed the image in the earlier post anyhow. With phpBB, if the image file location does not end in the usual .jpg .bmp .gif etc, then the phpBB IMG tags don't like it. You have to use HTML instead (which is what I changed it to instead) with a "img src=" command.
