Overpriced and cheaply made. I work at Target's HQ and they had a bunch of them set up one day, and they kept breaking.

They're basically cabinets running modified versions of MAME or some other emulator.

Do they sell those in stores, or is it just an online thing?

I saw the previous one at the Target near me.

I'm sure it was just a display, but it was running and i did play it.

They've been out for a while now and as others have said, they're a POS.

I'm still wondering how the hell you're supposed to have 2 player on the thing. Player 1's D button is almost ontop of Player 2's joystick. Shockingly bad design.

However, apparently the units have a standard Jamma connector in them and a tiny Jamma PCB that's loaded with the romz.

If you look hard enough, you can probably find a real Neo-Geo cab (or console) for that much.

Its got a jamma harness in it, so it actually has some good possibilites for some modifications.

If it was me...

Id throw in a 1 slot mvs, make a custom overlay with only controls for 1 player, and put like blazing star in it.

Might do that one day actually, i have a spare 1 slot...
