Yo DP, ever think about contacting the folks at G4 and pitching the idea of a Digital Press TV show? I think it would go over real well. You could break a 30 minute show down into 3 segments covering stories about classic games, including interviews with programers, stuff like that. It would be cool. Do it Joe... do it for the forum!

Hell, G4 better be at CGE or they've lost all credit in my book. "TV for gamers" when they don't go to the largest retrogaming event of its kind in the US? Asses.

Hey Tim, do you know something I don't? They were there in full force last year and so far it looks like a go this year as well. Do you mean TechTV (who missed the event last year)? If so, we've planted the seed with them as well. It's good to have former Infogrames marketing rep Jayson Hill managing our show's public relations - he's much better at it than I ever was!

G4 really does need some more original programming, though. I'll feel them out, I have some good contacts there! I can foresee a few problems though, for one thing you wouldn't want to se MY mug on the screen; also I'm on the east coast and they're in sunny CA. I will bring it up though, let's see if they're up for at least a segment on one of their other programs.

They were there? Hmm....well then, it goes to show what kind of prescence they had. I don't remember seeing anyone at all. Were they there the entire stretch?

Holy smokes, yeah.

1) most of the "hot chicks" (except POG) were from G4.
2) that dancing thing set up in front of the band? G4.
3) did you see me at all on Saturday? I was doing tours with various G4 crews (most of it in the museum).
4) that little room across from the main doors? G4 was stationed in there, doing interviews of game legends for one of their shows.

You must have been blinded by the games! Also maybe you don't have G4. I didn't get to see any of the coverage until our pal NE146 sent me a video tape!

Ah! A few mysteries have been solved by DP!

1. I just recently got G4, so I didn't see any of the coverage after the show. However, some of the promos have looked vaguely familiar. "Look honey, I SWEAR that's the floor of the CGE meet without any of the booth set up." Betcha they show promos before the show started.

2. I missed all the hot babes other than OUR hot babes, so no sightings there.

3. I didn't see one camera crew or mike, but if they were in a side room, that might explain it.

4. Hopefully, this year, they'll actually put together a retro-retrospective of the Expo. if they can air 18 straight hours of the Madden Football highlights, they can spare 30 minutes for this.

Hey Nate! I wanna know what happened to that ciip we were gonna be in as "background", when that girl was pretending to steal something from the museum and the guard had to throw her out...

Joe,

If nothing else, you could buy ad space and boost the DP Guide sales.

Just an idea.

But a DP show...God knows you'd never run out of material and show segments. Look at the size of the forum!
