A small video for developers showing how to make motion patterns. Thought it was kinda cool :)

Notice how he draws "4", all in one movement. I wonder how this will effect the games. I mean, i draw "4" in 2 movements, will the game still recognize it as "4" ?

impressive to see and its a good sign to know that all of the implemented game motions wont have to be programmed by hand to simulate what our motion should be. that could probably hamper the time it'll take to program for the wii and will probably make the ideas of porting games less daunting for the programers.

The programs should be prepared for these kinds of situations. I mean I would hope that it would recognize multiple writing styles. It should in theory be similar to the ds right. If not that would just suck, but hey that could be the case as well.

I've played the hell out of Brain Age, and it aint that good at recognizing my 5's, 7's and 2's.

I would hope to see some sort of pattern recognition, where either the game would "learn" your movements, or you could program your specific movements in yourself.
