At my goodwill I found these games, but didn't buy any because I don't have either system and didn't know rarity. The 5200 ganes are $1.49 and loose, the SMS games are $1.99 and boxed. Based on playability, which ones should I get? I'm going to check and buy the ones that are 4 or higher in scarcity. Please respond ASAP.

5200
Pac Man
Dig Dug
centipede

SMS
after burner
rampage
zaxxon 3-d
enduro racer
Zillion
gangsta town
ghostbusters
alex kidd
hang on and safari hunt
space harrier 3-d
parlour games

Yeah do not even bother with the 5200 games they are a waste of time at that price. Definitely pick up the SMS games because those are a lot harder to find especially at a goodwill.

Now I want a SMS, how much do these usually go for? Are they too hard to find one in the wild, I've never seen one.

Sega Master Systems tend to sell for around the price of the NES on eBay, maybe a little more. I've been really wanting to get one. I just can't decide it I want to get it or a Saturn. I know you already have some good games, but one nice feature of the console is it actually has a built in game.

The Sega Master System isn't rare or anything, but it was never that popular. I guess because of advertising and lack of third party games. It was released about two years into the NES's life span and it outclassed it in the graphics and sound department. But they never really caught on. I've never found one when at a yard sale or anything, but I've seen many on eBay.

I just sold a Master System with 2 controllers, light phaser, and Fantasy Zone CIB for $20+$10 shipping on ebay, less than what a NES with comparable accessories would go for. While not as worthless as a Genesis, the Master System is definitely down there below the NES, SNES and TG16.
