All the Waco Texas People Need to know something

I was down in Waco today and went to FX in the mall.

They had the following behind the counter
Panzer Dragoon Saga
Shining Force III
Panzer Dragoon Zwei

I was going to trade for them, the nice girl who works there had my trade in but said she had to call the manager and he said he was getting them so they couldn't trade them.

So are any of you guys on here by chance the Manager :)

I was there just last week and I didn't see anything like that over there. I guess they just got that stuff in.I suppose it will be way overpriced. Trust me, all the games are overpriced at that store. I'm not going to pay $2.99 for Combat or $4.99 for Super Mario Bros. and I've never seen an N64 game that was under $10 at that store for pete's sake(and jeffg, it was the Special FX at the Richland Mall, right?)

I've seen those games in the Waco FX before. I don't if they just arrived, actually, b/c every time they come in the store, those particular titles are on almost permanent hold by the owner. They could be the same copies I looked at over Christmas. Also, the $59.99 price must be a mistake, b/c there's no way they'd sell Saga for less than SF III. The last time I checked the price on Saga there, it was more like $200. I doubt that it's gone down at all, and certainly not that much. Maybe they typed it is a Zwei or the first PDS accidentally.

Hi Jeffg, I didnt know you were near Waco.

As for the Manager, Bruce. who is the owner of the chain "Special FX" I've known him for over 7 1/2 years.
Very nice guy, but be warned, he ripped off my friend of Panzer Dragoon Saga of $230 ( I still cant believe he paid that much and he's gonna be pissed when I tell him this)

Anyways, Ryaan you have hit it on the nail dude (Btw, when's the last time you been to the flea market man? havent seen ya since), I hate their prices on some of their stuff, but if you're looking for current gen console games (Xbox, PS2, etc.), it's a bargain at times, however the customer service sucks so friggin hard.

They tried to sell me a beat up label-less cart of Ghouls N Ghosts for Genesis at $13...and I said "No" to them and you could swear they were about to throw a fit (Short fat stubby one with a gotee...dont know his name but god he's got this uni-brow thing going on), anyways he's a dick by far. Why those bastards even tried to screw over my dad, he bought me the Xbox 360 from them and he placed a bad harddrive in the system (Swapped it without letting my dad know) so when I got it, it started giving me an error message, we went back there and there was that tall skinny guy working there, who is pretty laid back, but he said "Hey this is the wrong harddrive that came with it, but we have the one that came with it.." and he knew that, the lil fat shitball did that on accident. I was freaking out because I thought my system was dead, when it was really the wrong harddrive placed in.

The only thing I love about Special FX in the Richland Mall, is $3 disc repair, they do a fantastic job. However depending on the week, they can take up to a week or two, because there is 1 lady who is in charge of it, don't know who she is, but she has no clue about video games from what they tell me, but she does a great job cleaning the disc....

He's had 7 copies originally (Probably 3 by now), he showed me and my friend once. Bruce has been thining out his collection he says, just doesnt have the time and he plays his DS Lite since he travels between all three stores. (The other 3 stores are owned by his former business partners who pretty much betrayed him)

Also, the $59.99 could be a mistake, because Bruce always offered $230 always as far back as 2002

Zwei still sells for $24.99 at his store...and $16.95 for PD1
