Sega Master System fans rejoice!

I am going to share some advice with the population here. I bought a Camerica Freedom Stick a while back. It is a wireless joystick marketed for the nes very similar to the NES advantage and marketed for the nes only. If you are one of the lucky ones like me you got both adapters with it and it is compatible with the Sega Master System too, it is reasonable comfortable, has turbo fire and is eons better than Sega's offering for a joystick. I did some research on the web and found out that it is also compatible with the Atari 7800 and the C64. This is great news as Camerica was obviously thinking about everyone when they released it and the SMS is lacking in 3rd party accessories.

When you search for them make sure they have the standard 9 pin adapter as well as the NES style one and you have excellent versatility.

Um... Don't all those systems use the same plug as it is? Compatibility isn't that difficult under those circumstances...

The NES and SMS are totally different.

Of course, the C64, SMS, and 7800 all use the same plugs, if that's what you're referring to.

Even know it will work with the Atari 7800 & the C64..It won't work right, Like a Genesis & the Master System Controller will work on the 7800 but it won't funchin(sp) right

How reliable is the wireless joystick? Because I found those old infrared ones to be wonky at best.

Decent, the IR is touchy at times but for the most part it's good.

There are offical infra red joypads avaliable for the master system made by WKK. It seems that they were only released in UK and are pretty hard to come by. I do have a spare set if anyones interested in them.
