As the subject says, is this person a member of this forum? They are based in France and are paying insane amounts of money on ebay for sealed games for SNES. I'd love to know who this person is.

yeah this collectors_king is pretty popular because his name always appears on the top of the bidding list on sealed snes games, that's all I know about him. I've lost a couple of sealed snes games on ebay because he always managed to outbid me. Respectable guy, knows what he wants and pays a good price for it too.

Some eBay names aren't justified.
Seeing how this one is Adol, I would say it is pretty damn justified.

Must be nice to be rich, Adol. Either that or you don't have kids (same thing really).

In fact no i'm not rich,i'm was smart enough to buy/sell the good games for good prices when the time was right
( i'm mainly collecting japanese stuff)

The SNES/NES factory sealed games i won on Ebay, either that's for reselling/trading (small part),but mainly it's for a french friend of mine, who is REALLY collecting that stuff
(and HE IS rich for sure,no kids,etc..)

I'll never pay such prices for myself.
Not for USA games.

At $200+ for Axelay I pray you're not reselling that, yikes. Please leave some of these games for us US folks :)

Just out of curiosity, what's the high;ights or your sealed SNES collection. Since your not keeping any of them what would be the most rarest/expensive snes game you ever had/have??

Well my friend collects multiple copies
He now has like 5 Chrono Trigger Factory Sealed, 4-5 Final Fantasy 3, 2 DraculaX,2 Mega Man X 1, 2 Mega Man X 2,2 Breath of Fire 1&2, Lufia 1,2,Super Mario RPG,etc...

The only big title missing for him is Ogre Battle...

But he's not looking for all SNES titles, just the ones he likes...but he get multiple copies until he obtains the "perfection"..which can be hard depending how the package has been treated up to France :(

About Axelay,or U.N Squadron, seller told me ppl tried $300 offers after the end of auction

How much is he willing to dish out for an Ogre Battle?

Like $700 probably, maybe more...i'd have to ask him.

That's the most he paid for a game (like Mega Man X2,quite rare to find those days)
