I recently copied an Y's 4 walkthrough from Cheat.su.
It was great I got all the way to the end of the game but now I am stuck. I got up to the part where the spirit tells me I need to get back the cleria shield from Garuda. I also don't know how to get banjo to make the clear position to get leos armor.
Unfortunately this is the only walkthrough I can find.
I also read in another forum there was a patch to play the game in english. If so where can I get it? This would be helpful since I don't know a word of Japanese. By the way I am using Xports Hugonew to play y's4 on my xbox.
Thanks help is appreciated,
Famitsu. x_x

The english patch is nice but it doesn't subtitle any of the japanese dialogue (there's quite a bit of spoken bits in the game). The master plan (which thankfully fell through) was to....fandub it.... *shudder* You'll still need a dialogue translation faq while you play :(
Also, Xport's port of Mednafen is far superior to HuGo (and I used to be a big advocate of HuGo). Hell, outside of the interface, the PC/Linux/MacOSX ports of Mednafen completely blow Magic Engine out of the water :)

Is Mednafenx available in xbins? How is linux mednafen? Can I get it from emulator zone? Just wondering cause i'm fixing a powermac 8500/180 G3 that I plan to install yellow dog 3.01 on.

Yes, sir it is available on the XBINS ftp, but why bother going through all of that hassle when I've already hosted it for you (http://www.roushimsx.com/dp/mednafenx_pce_v2.zip) :) (along with anyone else here that's in need of some PCE lovin')
I've not yet used the linux version of it, but I presume it's the same as the Win32 build...command line only, highly compatible, somewhat steep configuration learning curve, etc. :)
