I've found this to be a pretty enjoyable game to hold me over until ST:Legacy comes out. It's a shooter/flight sim hybrid, covering all the different eras in the Star Trek universe. It's also pretty tough...some of the later missions are hard as hell. It's no game of the year candidate, but it's not bad for a budget game.

So has anyone else checked this out?

Never played it, but the screenshots make me think of Armada on Dreamcast ... which was fun.

Can anyone give more details? I was quite curious about this title.

I really like this game. fun action, skirmish mode iis awesome especially in the harder levels where you ge swarmed. Its more of an action title than a simulation/tactical game which I find as a good thing. MOST DEFINTLEY worth the 20 bucks.

I just picked this up for $15 on the basis that:
a) It's a Star Trek game and I just finished watching TNG Season 3
b) It was $15
c) There was next to no info about it online and I just HAD to check it out for myself

I'm finishing off the second Enterprise mission right now and I'm starting to like it. The early fly-through-the-rings crap was totally Superman 64, but this mission is darn fun (hunting enemy ships by their warp trails) and the combat is pretty well done.

Gimme a few hours and I'll have some screenshots and videos ready :)

I'm trying to get it to deinterlace better, but here's (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1211193637681005167&hl=en) (GoogleVideo) a rough encode (followed by a poor xvid->flash transcode :( ) of part of the Enterprise campaign, Mission 3. Hopefully I'll be able to get something cleaner this evening...shit, I may just discard half the fields :(

Beyond the first mission being flat out terrible, I've found myself having quite a bit of fun with the game so far :)

Thanks so much for the footage. It looks to be a fun game.

I was wondering is the targeting cone controlled by the right analog stick?

Yep, you swing it around with the right analog stick and lock on with R2. :)
