Problem with my snes

Has anyone experienced graphic problems with their PAL Super Nintendo systems before?

I have just got one and though most games work fine this one is having problems with a couple of games like street fighter and mario kart, though the games work they are full of graphic glitches - street fighter is fine apart from when your playing the game and mario kart plays fine but has problems when you choose which game to play and when you win the race and go to the winners screen

Its not the carts as i have multiple copies of street fighter and each one is the same O_O

Any help or advice would be much appreciated ;)

now you said a pal system are the games themselves pal version? Also are those the only games you have problems with?

Its not only these games, to name a couple more... Mortal Kombat - Markos magic football

Ive tried getting any dirt / hair out of the cartridge slot but this still doesnt help

Hmmm I wish I knew more I know somebody here should know with the collector power of all gamers all over the world somebody should know

I wish i knew more too, i dont want to have to buy another system without at least trying to sort this one out :/

How have you cleaned the cartridge slot? Did you just blow in it? Try taking a credit card and some thin cloth/paper towel dampened with rubbing alcohol then move it up and down in the slot.

If you've cleaned it properly you might need to bend the pins back.
