I bought Lord of the Rings: The Third Age yesterday for cube, and was surprised it's a 2-disc game. I didn't know of any gamecube games that spanned more than 1 disc.
Are there any other multi-disc gamecube games?
Also, is LotR: The Third Age more than 1 disc for ps2 or xbox?
P.S. I quite like the game, I don't know why it's reviewed so poorly. It's too easy, but still fun :)

Other multi-disc Gamecube games I know of are:
Resident Evil 4
Killer 7
Freaky Flyers
I think there's a Tiger Woods game that's multi-disc as well. They're not unheard of, but there's not a lot of 'em either.

A Matrix game. Dont remember the title, but i think its the first one.
Both Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero are indeed two disc games. Both Baten Kaitos games are two discs. Homeland (JP only release) is said to be two discs, although I'm not sure on that one. I think the beta or maybe a limited box was two discs, but the regular commercial release might be one disc. I have a copy, but it's still sealed since I haven't had time to play it, so I can't check. Does anyone have multi-disc Japanese releases? I'm curious as to whether they use the regular JP GC disc case (which is really, really small!) or something else.
BTW, Nintendo only sells the multi-disc GC cases on their online store.

Yep, Twin Snakes and a few of the demo pod discs. The case is the same, there's just a flap (bit like in a 2 DVD set box) on the left hand side of the box with the manual that has a spindle on it to hold the second disc.

Gamecube is such an awesome system.
I wonder if Tomb Raider: Legend will be two disks.
GC two disk games I know of:
Baten Kaitos
Baten Kaitos Origins
Conan: The Dark Axe (Europe only)
Enter the Matrix
Freaky Flyers
Goldeneye: Rogue Agent
Homeland (double checking with Wikipedia, it seems this is two disks)
Killer 7
Lord of the Rings: The Third Age
Medal of Honor: Rising Sun
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
Resident Evil
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil Code Veronica X
Resident Evil Zero
Ribbit King (this is only one disk in Europe though)
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Tales of Symphonia
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turltes 3: Mutant Nightmare
I think that's everything?

Weird formatting there, both the Tiger Woods games I posted under the last sentence of my post are multi-disk games.

How is that game? I've been wanting to check it out for awhile but am too busy to pick another game up at this time.

Both are quite good. Fun gameplay systems, great soundtracks, etc. The plots themselves are mediocre and filled with cliches but the presentation is top notch. They're made by several of the same people that worked on Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, the influence shows.
From a collector's standpoint, the demand on these will probably get pretty high since Baten Kaitos origins is one of (if not the) last third party Gamecube exclusive in the US and they're quality RPGs in general (as opposed to something like the Lost Kingdoms games which are extremely fun but no one cares about, they're also super common instead of pretty common).
Homeland (double checking with Wikipedia, it seems this is two disks)
Curiosity got the best of me, and I opened my copy. It's only one disc. This is the regular retail release. I remember reading that the beta came on two discs (one for single player and one for online), but it seems the retail release is only one disc.
At least I have something to play with until the US release of FFXII. Spent an hour or so with it today, utterly charming game. I love the graphical style and it's all hiragana/katakana so far, so easy (for me) to read. Damn shame that no one localized it, the GC needed more RPGs.

Couldn't stand it. Both the voice acting and the voice sampling are utterly horrid... the voices have this bizarre hollow sound to them... really awful recording. I didn't like the art style either, and the story bored me to death.
However the battle system was pretty darn cool. Gin Rummy in an RPG heh

I can tell you now that homeland has only ever been in one disc form.
Both the retail & beta test version have 1 disk. At one point i think they were considering 2 disks biut it never happened.
If your wanting to enjoy homeland you might like the guide i did for it. Its not complete but there enough on there to get you started.
