I have a bunch of new systems and I want to protect the boxes during long term storage. I thought about buying clear plastic (like mattress covers) and cutting them to 'wrap' the boxes.

But I hear some plastic is actually bad. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Greg

Store them in another box of simular size, only thing I can come up with. :/

honestly I don't think putting in plastic is too bad of an idea. Yeah it time the wrap will get tighter around it however if you have it semi loose on it in the first place it should be fine, you can also reinforce the insides of the box by filling it up tight so it can't really get crushed. Or if you don't care to display it, i would get a slighty bigger box and put styrofoam peanuts in it then place the box in side.
